Terms
Using LearnOS
These terms describe the main rules for accounts, learner profiles, subscriptions, learning access, AI-supported features and family use of LearnOS.
1. Accounts and accurate information
Users should provide accurate account and learner-profile information and keep access credentials secure. Accounts must not be used to bypass access controls or impersonate another learner, parent or guardian.
2. Individual learner profiles
Each learner should have their own profile. Learning access, progress, recommendations, reports and tutor settings follow that learner profile and its selected year group.
LearnOS may limit discretionary year-group or profile changes to protect the integrity of personalised learning and progress records.
3. Parents, guardians and families
An authorised adult may be linked to a learner profile with specific permissions. Family access does not make all learner information automatically visible to every person using the subscription.
4. Curriculum and premium learning access
Public visitors may browse selected curriculum, pathway and course-overview information. Actual premium learning content may require a signed-in account, a valid learner profile, the appropriate year-group access and an eligible subscription.
5. Introductory access and subscriptions
Where offered, the LearnOS introductory period and the selected continuation plan are shown before payment. The selected recurring plan may begin automatically when the introductory period ends unless it has been cancelled in accordance with the available cancellation process.
Family pricing may depend on the number of learners selected. Prices and the next billing amount should be shown before the customer confirms payment.
6. Cancellation and access after cancellation
Customers should be able to cancel an eligible subscription using the available account or billing-management process. Where access continues until the end of an already-paid period, premium access may remain available until that period ends.
7. AI tutors and generated support
AI-supported explanations and recommendations may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect. Learners should use them as educational support and check important information where appropriate.
8. Acceptable use
Users must not attempt to interfere with security, obtain unauthorised access, misuse another person’s account, scrape or redistribute protected learning content unlawfully, or use the service in a way that harms other users or the platform.
9. Changes to the service or these terms
LearnOS may improve or change features, learning pathways, pricing or these terms. Where a change materially affects a paid subscription or user rights, appropriate notice should be provided.
10. Questions
If you have a question about these terms, billing or use of the service, contact LearnOS support.
